Proud to Sponsor the Santa Barbara Invitational Concours
I’m proud to support the inaugural Santa Barbara Invitational Concours, taking place November 7–8, 2026, at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club. Set against the backdrop of California’s American Riviera, the weekend will bring together extraordinary automobiles, collectors, designers, enthusiasts, hospitality, and philanthropy. Conceived as a celebration of automotive artistry, heritage, and innovation, the Concours is being created with an ambition that extends well beyond the cars themselves.
As a longtime fan of classic cars, this event is especially meaningful to me, and I’m excited to be entering my own Porsche 996 TT in the Concours. I have always appreciated automobiles that reflect a strong point of view, thoughtful engineering, and enduring design. The most exceptional cars have a presence that transcends performance alone. Their proportions, craftsmanship, materials, and history tell a story, and there is something special about seeing those details preserved and appreciated by another generation.
Founder Linda Rosso’s vision is to establish the Santa Barbara Invitational Concours as a premier cultural event, bringing together collectors, connoisseurs, designers, and sponsors while celebrating the artistry and legacy of the automobile. At its heart is the idea that an event centered on excellence can also create lasting impact, susing a shared appreciation for extraordinary automobiles as a catalyst for education, opportunity, and community advancement.
Throughout the weekend, guests will experience a carefully curated collection of automobiles chosen for their rarity, provenance, and historical significance, along with coastal drives and social gatherings designed to celebrate both the heritage and future of automotive design. The intention is to create an experience that feels distinctly Santa Barbara, pairing automotive excellence with coastal elegance and the sense of community that makes this region so special.
That larger purpose is an important part of why I’m pleased to support the event. The Santa Barbara Invitational Concours is a nonprofit endeavor with a commitment to giving back through philanthropic partnerships and charitable initiatives. Participant proceeds help support students pursuing careers in automotive engineering, design, and mechanics, including students in Santa Barbara City College’s Automotive Service and Technology program.
The organization’s mission reaches beyond automotive education as well. Its community partners include the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County, which provides academic support, mentorship, arts, and sports programming for young people, and Family Service Agency, which provides services ranging from counseling and parent education to senior support, financial literacy, and family and youth programs. Together, these partnerships reflect the Concours’ broader goal of creating opportunities and strengthening the community long after the weekend itself has concluded.
I’m delighted to sponsor an event that brings together so many things I personally appreciate: beautiful automobiles, timeless design, history, craftsmanship, and a genuine commitment to the community. The vision behind the Santa Barbara Invitational Concours gives the weekend a sense of purpose beyond the exhibition itself, creating what its organizers hope will become a lasting cultural tradition on the American Riviera.
I hope you’ll join us for an extraordinary weekend celebrating automotive excellence, legacy, and community.
